Lan Wangji has the ability to play music that can alter moods. Most specifically, he can play music that calms the spirit, lowers agitation, and cleanses evil.

How much of an effect this has on your character, and what that effect looks like, is up to you: even in his canon, there are characters that are immune to the effects.
